Besides color preference (and gender), what are some good guidelines for choosing breeding stock? I have 9 young muscovys, four of which are male, all different colors. One drakelet appears to be black, and I'm leaning toward him (he's also the largest) and the ducklets range from shades of chocolate to pale tan to white. One of the ducklets is a slate blue, and I'm kind of partial to her. But I want to choose the best type, conformation, whatever, to start a breeding flock that is interesting to look at and good to eat. Thanks!
