We put 13 muscovy eggs in the incubator at school for the FFA kids.  1 egg never showed development and was removed.  Last candled at 21 days the other 12 eggs were all dark showing a good air cell.  At 30 days (during spring break) the kids showed up for a practice and found a newly hatched baby.  Only one egg hatched today and no activity on the others.  It is so cold here that there is no chance that the eggs were pre-incubated.  We gather daily and none of the hens was setting at that time, infact we had to be prompt on collection in the mornings to prevent frozen eggs.  Does this mean I mis-identified and got one of the eggs that are half muscovy and half campbell or cayuga?  I was so sure we only had muscovy eggs.

Mixed breed eggs will hatch just like muscovite eggs . You can only see the difference after they hatch . Smiley
