I was sorting out my older brooders today, the males are huge. Since I am still learning, can the males get too large to successfully breed?  I have had that trouble with turkeys, so I am a little concerned. I will probably hold back one youngster from the butcher pen.  what is your experiences?

Sorry for the delay ,I'm new too . Was talking to a long time breeder , and she does not keep drakes over two years . She said they get too heavy , and hurt the young hens . So I gues at two it's hamburger time . Smiley
